When searching for Walt Disney characteristics, one main one pops up, “He was determined”(Leadership Lessons from Walt Disney). According to the website Walt Disney Character Traits, “ His determination showed that he is a great example for everyone to follow” (“Walt Disney Character Traits - 640 Words | Bartleby”). For example, when he lost all his money and business he tried other ways to try and earn more money. He never gave up and he always found a job to raise money. He quotes, “The difference in winning and losing is often- not quitting” (“Walt Disney Character Traits - 640 Words | Bartleby”).

Walt Disney is described with a lot of characteristics by many of his friends and family. While some described him as nice and caring, others didn’t have great things to say about him, “Walt was stubborn, and had a fiery temper ( often aggravated by his physical pain from a variety of ailments, like an old polo injury), and sometimes was so oblivious that he didn’t realize when he was being too tough on his employee’s” ( Korkis). While he may have had a temper, there are still many good things said about him. Ray wrote in the Foreword to Howard and Amy Green’s Remembering Walt, “Walt Disney was more important than all the politicians we’ve ever had. They pretended optimism. He was optimism. He has done more to change the world for the good than almost any politician who ever lived” (Nothing Has to Die). While Disney was an impressive man, he was also still human.
